The organizers of the BrewLoops Festival are pleased to be kicking off the spring season with a bang, or the fizz of a beer bottle being opened, with the announcement of their first event set for Saturday, May 26, 2018.
The BrewLoops Downtown Block Party will see the continued collaboration between BrewLoops Cultural Development Society and the Kamloops Central Business Improvement Association that the community enjoyed for their past events: Welcome Winter Block Party, and Back-Alley Block Party. New to this year’s collaboration is the Royal Cup, a road hockey tournament that has previously been hosted on the Northshore of Kamloops.
“The Society has been hard at work over the winter organizing this year’s event line up,” says Mitch Forgie, BrewLoops Director and Owner of Red Beard Café. “We’ve been working on some amazing partnerships within the community, partnerships that have been in the works for a few years now, and we can hardly wait to share them with the public.” Mitch encourages the faithful patrons of BrewLoops to be on the look out for further details about the May 26th event, including tickets sales set to open later on this month.
12- 5 will be the hockey tournament
5-10pm will be the second phase of the blockparty in the parking lot beside the Plaza and Victoria St. Tickets on sale soon $20.
